Chris Medina – Breakeven on American Idol 10 Auditions

I never shed a tear watching American Idol before, or maybe I did but I can barely remembered it. However Chris Medina’s audition on AI season 10 did make me shed a tear. He is from Chicago, his story is a bit sad love story but an inspiring one. Chris and his girlfriend Juliana are together for 8 years now and has been engaged for almost 3 years now. They promised to each other that they will get married 2 years after the engagement, but until now they didn’t get married because Juliana got an accident and suffered a traumatic brain injury.

Now Chris wanted to make her happy by making it to the Hollywood and even making it to the finals.

No wonder why Chris has a nice voice because he sings it from his heart and for his fiancée. He sang Breakeven by The Script.

You should watch this video and listen how he sings and how he got it to Hollywood.

Adam Lambert Performance on AMA – American Music Awards

Adam Lambert the 1st runner-up American Idol performed at AMA – American Music Awards that was televised at ABC network on primetime Sunday Night and it draws thousands of complaints to ABC network. Some call it a raunchy performance and the dance can be described as: “Lambert alternately had a dancer on a leash, had a dancer’s head grinding against his crotch simulating oral sex, and had a hand on his own crotch. He also made out with a male band member and flipped his middle finger.”

My American Idol Season 8

I kinda settle down about watching the previously concluded American Idol Season 8 because of a very busy schedule, but recently downloaded some episodes of the finals on my laptop.

After watching, I am quite impressed with this seasons talents because WOW, they are simply magnificent and genius individuals, that is why I regretted why I didn’t have the time to watch every live episodes for that AI season 8.

I am somewhat pleased to see Kris Allen and Adam Lambert on the American Idol Season 8 Finale and even glad Kris came out as the winner but I like Adam more. His voice, his looks and his style really fit for my American Idol winner. But Kris Allen is also rightful to be an American Idol no questions about that… because we need to pick only one winner and that goes to Kris.

Adam Lambert, I love every number he performs on each episode. He is simply an artist and I think which everybody knows that he will surely become a great big star on the music industry. To the rest of this year’s American Idol season, specially Danny Gokey, Allison Iraheta a talented 17 year-old girl, Matt Giraud who got saved by the judges on the final 7 episode and to Scott MacIntyre who is an inspiration to some aspiring artist. They are already a winner and we are expecting for their albums and singles very soon because they are such brilliant singers. But I am seeing a good music career for Adam Lambert.

Ryan Seacrest and Simon Cowell on Vacation

American Idol host Ryan Seacrest and judge Simon Cowell are Jet-ski buddies while they are enjoying their last minute vacation before the American Idol this January 13 with a two-night, four-hour premiere.

Ryan looks beefy on this picture. Hmmm… he must have been going to the gym or just eat too much on holiday seasons.

David Cook is American Idol Season 7 Winner

I knew it since the top 5, that it will be David Cook the next American Idol winner for this season. And the American People really give it the best shot to choose Cook over Archuleta. But David Archuleta is amazingly wonderful and talented kid, it is just David Cook got the complete package, the style, voice, flexibility, looks and the charisma. He is the next Chris Daughtry, I mean, David Cook is just the best. Well, last time I thought it was Chris Daughtry will win but the people miss to vote for him, and where is Taylor Hicks now? but look at Chris now, he really is a true American Idol, I am sure he will make it to the music industry.

Anyway, David Cook really deserves the win. I am waiting for his first album and I’m going to buy it. His “Always Be My Baby” version is simply hot, simply the best and simply rocks.

David Cook is a 25-year-old bartender from Missouri and He is now a star!

With a record 97.5 million votes cast, Cook beat 17-year-old Utah resident David Archuleta by 12 million votes. His victory was a stunning rebuke to judges Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson, who had all but crowned Archuleta the winner Tuesday night.

As if anticipating Cook’s win, Cowell, just seconds before host Ryan Seacrest made the announcement, apologized to Cook for comments the previous night that were “verging on disrespectful.”

Congratulating both of them, Cowell said, “For the first time ever, I don’t really care who wins.”

American Idol Update: Kelly Clarkson and Jordin Sparks

Jordin Sparks is still scheduled to appear with Alicia Keys on tour this week. However, she canceled all of her appearances this past weekend, due to vocal cord problems.

Due to an unfortunate illness, Jordin Sparks has been forced to cancel her show scheduled for this Sunday, April 20, at the Bryce Jordan Center.

Sparks’ doctor has advised the Jordan Center that the former “American Idol” winner cannot perform due to an acute vocal cord hemorrhage condition. Because of the risk of permanent vocal cord damage, Sparks has been ordered to strict vocal rest and will not be able to perform anywhere until her condition improves.

The Jordan Center apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this uncontrollable circumstance.

Kelly Clarkson performed Ave Maria for Pope Benedict XVI at Saint Joseph Seminary in New York in front of 25,000 people last Saturday, April 19. Kelly admitted that she was nervous performing in-front of the pope more than she was nervous singing in-front of the ultimate American Idol judge Simon Cowell.

Ramiele Malubay Booted Off from ‘American Idol’

American Idol Finalist Ramiele Malubay has been Booted Off from ‘American Idol’ competition. Singing Dolly’s Do I Ever Cross Your Mind. Simon didn’t like her performance and maybe the American people too didn’t like it and that made her got the lowest votes. Ohhh!!! that’s sad for us but what do we expect about it? Well, it’s American Idol and we can’t expect much that the next American Idol will be a Filipino, Americans won’t allow that, of course as much as we won’t allow the Balikatan Exercise here in our land, right?

Anyway, as long as she made it to the top 10 Ramiele Malubay will still be our American Idol. But honestly, at the start of the show this season, I’ve been eyeing on David Archuleta as the next American Idol. I just love his voice… Anyway, expect more of Ramiele Malubay on Philippine Television. GMA7 in particular!

Danny Noriega gets an offer from Rosie O’Donnell

Danny Noriega got a personal invites from Rosie O’Donnell to her gay cruise from San Diego going down in Mexico… It’s a free cruise for Danny and a friend onthe cruise… Tainted Love kid as what Rosie called Danny. Rossie wants Danny to sing Tainted Love on Board and even wants to take the stage with Danny. Woah! that is something from a fan huh… Too bad Danny just got voted off from the American Idol.

David Archuleta on American Idol Top 24

David Archuleta, one of the rising name in youtube and in television now because he is one of the 24 finalists of American Idol Season 7 and everybody loves his angelic voice and people start digging his videos over youtube. People start searching David Archuleta’s name on Google and Youtube. I know he will become a rising star for this year. He even has a video way back 4 years ago where he sang You’re Gonna Love Me! to kelly clarkson the first American Idol. He also has a video at youtube where he sang A Thousand Miles with Piano accompaniment by himself. Wow!!! I can say he really is a genius guy. I’ll bet he can make it to the finals of American Idol season 7. David Archuleta has been called “The Soul man from Utah,” the “Soul Midget King,” “Mini Motown Monster” and a singing prodigy. David’s natural “soulful” voice has captivated America through his performances on Jenny Jones and most recently as the junior singer grand prize winner of Star Search 2.

But Votefortheworst.com said that this season’s finalists are no longer even remotely undiscovered talent. A large percentage of them are failed singers and entertainers who have already had their shot at fame. Well. In my opinion it is not their time yet when they failed. Everything and everyone has its special time and Votefortheworst.com don’t believe that, they just want to see the very best and how can they find them if we don’t have programs like American Idol?

Melinda Doolittle Gives Back in Africa

Melinda Doolittle, this year’s third-place finisher on American Idol, landed in Zambia Thursday for a four-day charitable excursion to help distribute bed nets provided through donations raised during the April 24-25 Idol Gives Back telethon.

As she partners with Malaria No More, Us Magazine reports that Doolittle, who calls her overseas travel “a lifelong dream,” will work with First Lady Laura Bush to deliver the 500,000 nets.

In addition to her charitable efforts during the trip, Doolittle will also entertain locals with her version of “Amazing Grace.” Many Idol fans believed this incredible singer should have won the title of Jordin Sparks back in May. – The Hollywood Gossip
